Salba & Sesame Crusted Tuna
Description
This recipe showcases the meaty, clean flavors of tuna with a cripsy crust of sesame seeds and Salba.
Goes great with wasabi-ponzu sauce and a fresh spinach salad topped with sesame-ginger dressing.
Ingredients
4 tuna steaks (about 3/4 inch thick)
2 tsp Salba Seed Oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 Tbsp sesame seeds (black seeds recommended)
3 Tbsp Salba Whole Seeds
1/2 Tbsp black pepper
Cooking Instructions
Heat Salba Seed Oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
Dash salt on tuna steaks.
Combine Salba and sesame seeds in a small bowl. Coat tuna with sesame seeds.
Cook tuna in pan for 3 minutes on each side.

Whisk the following ingredients together briskly for 30 seconds:
* 1 Tbsp chopped green onion
* 2 Tbsp orange juice
* 2 Tbsp soy sauce (low sodium recommended)
* 1 Tbsp lemon rind
* 1 Tbsp rice vinegar
* 1 tsp brown sugar
* 1 Tbsp lemon juice
* 2 tsp honey
* 1 tsp peeled, grated ginger root
* 1 1/2 tsp wasabi paste
