Salba Granola Bars (GF)
Description
A healthy, whole food snack alternative, these Salba bars are an impressive Gluten-Free source of fiber without sacrificing flavor. They make the perfect lunchtime snack for your kids.
Makes 20 bars (each bar is approximately 4" x 2").
Ingredients
1 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup almond butter
½ cup honey
½ cup Gluten-Free margarine, melted
2 tsp Gluten-Free vanilla
3 cups Gluten-Free oats
½ cup shredded coconut
½ cup sunflower seeds
1/3 cup pumpkin seeds
¼ cup Salba Whole or Ground Seed
1 ½ cup Gluten-Free crisp rice cereal
Cooking Instructions
Combine all ingredients in mixing bowl; mix well. Press mixture evenly into a sprayed 11" x 17" jellyroll pan.
Bake 15 - 20 minutes at 375°F.
Cool slightly before cutting into bars. Allow to cool completely before removing from pan.
Store in airtight container.
